Impact Evaluation Trainings- 14-15 November 2019 at Kisumu Hotel, 28-29 November 2019 at USIU-Africa, Nairobi.

The Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA) hosted at United States International University Africa (USIU-Africa) recently hosted a 2-day training on Applied Impact Evaluation techniques themed, ‘Getting to know when to re-design a program, expand it, interrupt it or up-scale it’. The trainings took place from 14-15 November 2019 and 21-22 November 2019 at Kisumu Hotel and USIU-Africa, Nairobi respectively.

The trainings provided a learning opportunity for researchers working in universities, economists & community /public health specialists working in public, private and non-profit organizations to learn main techniques applied in Impact Evaluation (IE) and focus on the design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of randomized field experiments.

The trainings explored in depth the following topics:
