Background

The Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA) was formed in 2018, by the alumni of the East Africa Social Science Translation (EASST) Collaborative (a multi-institution research network administered by the Centre for Effective Global Action (CEGA) hosted at University of California, Berkeley.

NIERA affiliates researchers across 10 African countries to achieve its mission to advance Decision-Focused Evaluations of development programs through capacity building, evidence generation and policy engagement. Presently, the Network has over 66 researchers each possessing high level academic degrees and hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive evaluations across various thematic sectors.

NIERA is currently hosted at the United States International University – Africa (USIU-Africa) in Nairobi – Kenya which is a private university accredited by the Commission for Higher Education (CUE) in Kenya and by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in the United States. With over 6,500 students from 62 nations, USIU Africa’s vision is to become a premier institution of academic excellence with a global perspective.

Objective of the Assignment

The main objective of this TOR is to engage an organization to assist NIERA in reviewing, auditing and redesigning of its website to improve performance, functionality and user experience.
