Annet Adong is currently a Junior Researcher and Doctoral candidate at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn. Prior to that she was a Research Analyst at Economic Policy Research Center. Adong holds a BS in Agriculture Economics from Makerere University Uganda and a Master in Development and Natural Resource Economics from University of Life Sciences Norway. She has expertise in conducting impact evaluations and behavioral experiments. She has for example conducted an RCT on whether an innovative sales offer can increase uptake of an agricultural input while her current PhD work centers on impact of conflict on behavior and food security. She is currently part of the East Africa Social Science Translators Network, the African Growth and Development Policy Modeling Consortium and African Economics Research Cortsortium. Her expertise are in the fields of agriculture, education, conflict and gender.
