Dr. Fola Aina is a Political Scientist whose research is at the intersection of security and development. He earned a second Master's degree in African Studies from the African Studies Centre, University of Oxford, UK, following his initial Master's degree in international development policy from Seoul National University, South Korea. His academic journey began with a BSc (Hons) in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, culminating in a PhD in Leadership Studies from King’s College London, UK, with a focus on security and development. His research focuses on fragile and conflict-affected settings, economic development, political economy, governance, and public policy. Dr. Aina is a recipient of multiple awards, including the General Cissè Lamine Young African Researcher Award, by Partners Global. His works have been published in reputable international journals such as African Security, Democracy and Security, and Peace Review, amongst others.
