Halefom  currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Policy Studies Institute. He is a Ph.D. holder in Economics from Maastricht University and possesses an MSc in Economics from Mekelle University. Halefom's research focus centers on the intersection of development, labor, and behavioral economics
