2013 CEGA Fellow Dr. Annet Adong is currently a Research Fellow with Center for Population and Applied Statistics, Makerere University, and holds a Ph.D in Development Economics from the University of Bonn. Annet specializes in Agriculture, Conflicts and Forced displacements. She explored the Consequences of Armed Conflicts and Forced Displacements on consumption pathways and Social preferences for her Ph.D. In her other research, she explored the constraints to the adoption of inorganic fertilizer in Uganda using a Randomized Control Trial. Annet has consulted for institutions such as the International Food Policy Research Center and the FAO. She holds a Masters in Development and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Life Sciences Norway and a BSc in Agriculture Economics from Makerere University Uganda.
