NIERA and CEGA to Co-host the 2027 Africa Evidence Summit in Nairobi

Save the date: 10–11 June 2027 | Nairobi, Kenya

The Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA) and the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) will co-host the 15th annual Africa Evidence Summit on 10–11 June 2027 in Nairobi, Kenya. The in-person event will provide a platform to share research, strengthen connections between researchers and decision-makers, and advance evidence-informed policymaking.

Advancing African Research and Policy Engagement

The Africa Evidence Summit seeks to amplify African scholars’ voices and bring research findings into policy discussions. It creates opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, develop collaborations, and consider how evidence can inform responses to development challenges across the continent.

Previous editions have featured policy-relevant research spanning climate change, digital transformation, agriculture, education, and financial inclusion, among other areas.

For NIERA, the Summit supports our commitment to strengthening the African research community and promoting the use of evidence in policy and practice. We encourage our members and wider network to follow the announcements and share this opportunity with colleagues and partner institutions.

Call for Speakers Opens in January 2027

Researchers interested in contributing to the Summit should look out for the call for speakers, which will open in January 2027. Further information about the submission process will follow.
